What are the nessessay parts needed to convert evo8 gsr to evo 9 mr
Hi, I own 2003 evo 8 gsr and the engine got damaged so, i bought a new engine
but its a 2006 evo9 mr engine. what part should i buy to make the engine fit
please be specific about the parts because i don't know much about cars.

Yeah the wiring harness is different. There's extra sensors for mivec. The number of plugs to the ecu is different too. I think there's also stuff in the ecu for acd which could be a problem since you have an 03.
You could probably use the ix block and your head, depending on your damage.
