has anyone heard of running Synergyn gl4 transmission fluid on a 6spd? I ended up picking my car up from the dealership to change the tranny fluid myself before making any further decisions. When I went to go test deive it and show them when my 4th was grinding they just told me they had no idea what it was.

same thing happened to my dads 06 eclipse. for a whole year he took it to them and showed the grind and they said it was normal and even the evos do it. well amonth later the clutch blew because the trans was effed up. so they went halfsies on a new tranny and clutch lol. if uve had it under 30 days u should be covered no problem. at least we do here at a honda dealership (i know) even if its a wearable item such as clutch

where are you in nj. Im having the same problem with a dealer right now.

I went through this with my car when i had first gotten it. They went through the whole we have to confirm that the problem is there, then confirm that the car is stock and has not had anything done prior, then pull and see if its from "abuse" or not which is bs. If they claim abuse pay for the like 5hrs of labor and have them put it back in or have them continue the work and get charged some rediculous price.... Mine was covered under warrenty because the car was stock and never had anything done to it. So overall if your car is stock and hasnt had anything done to it at all you will be fine...
