Has anyone made 400whp on an Evo9 turbo on pump?

Also, when I had my EVO I did A LOT more driving. I now work 3 miles from my house and I have an extra car too, so I only drive the Z06 about 3-4 days a week. I bought my EVO new in 2005 and when I sold it, I had 75k miles on it... thats a lot of driving!

Yes the weather does play a factor, but my point was that the dynos dont ALWAYS tell the story but sometimes they do. In my case, it did. I dynoed in 50* weather I think so it was sort of in between extremes. However, I did compare my traps to the black EVO I was at the track with since we were at the track at the same time.
To back up your thoughts on dyno numbers not tellin the whole story ,,
My evo8 on stock turbo with mild tune put down 386 whp on a dynojet , one month later the car trapped 120 mph on the same setup slightly cooler wheather

I would not consider a stand-along ECU as part of a full bolt-on setup.

93 oct
Stock head w/ the exception to springs and retainers
Any type of dyno

Exactly. Im sure if you dynoed your car in the slightly cooler weather you may have seen close to 395+whp.

I regret it now but not much I can do. The guy I sold the car to parted it out and sold it stock, so that was the end of it.
Glad that one of the first things I bought for my Evo was a Valentine 1 detector... if it saves you from getting even 1 ticket it pays for itself (considering insurance rate hikes + cost of ticket)... best investment I have made!

I made 383whp on 92-octane at MAP on their AWD DynoJet last time I was there, I've since made some changes and am on 93-octane so I wouldn't be surprised if I am able to crack the 400whp mark. Stock IX turbo.

I actually had a V1 which saved my butt NUMEROUS times, but I didnt always get tickets in the EVO, that was the problem! I should have strapped that V1 to my body

Maybe on day I'll hit 400 on pump that would be a nice goal. I just don't want to mess my current tune - 340 with just exhaust and 25psi.
