Downpipe fitment on IX MR

I have a 2006 IX MR. I've tried two different DPs and neither fit. Granted they were for non-ACD Evo's but have since been modified and ran on ACD Evo's. The weird part about mine is, neither DP clears the oil pan.

Does anyone know if MR's have a different oil pan? I ask this because the owner of the current DP I tried has a IX RS and his car takes a skinny oil filter, while mine takes a shorter, wider oil filter.

Thanks,
Rob

Hey buddy! I'll keep an eye out and do some research and see what I come up with.

All the same man...no difference in the oil pan or filter...oil filters may be different brand filters...I've been using stock Mitsu filters since I've bought my car and it now has 40k miles on it...can't beat it $6 from the stealership...

Oh yeah...I've had the Buschur downpipe on my car and now have the QTP cutout downpipe...both were made to work with ACD evos and both didn't rub or touch anything...

+1, one is long and skinny. the other is short and fat.

like females, the evo prefers the short & fat ones.

Update, compared my buddy's IX RS to my car. Oil pan is the same. So, I guess when I get the money, i'll just buy an ACD specific downpipe.

Oh well.

WORKS...it works (bad pun intended). I never had a single fitment problem and it tucks in perfectly.

It's pricey, but the fit can't be beat.
