few random questions

I bought my evo 8 with a 25G setup. I recently removed that setup, and waiting to put my new FP RED in. The 25G wasn't using any coolant or water lines, so I need help finding where these pipes go for when I do the FP RED.

My other question is, is there anyway of being able to detect the type of head studs you're using? Im trying to find out whether the car has ARP studs or not.

Thanks

How was the turbo not using coolant lines.. weird... I'd say just find a picture with a stock turbo set up so you can see where the openings should be. As for the head studs, that's beyond me, GL with that.

You could buy the 8 turbo install kit as it includes 9 lines. There is a how to swap turbo on one of the forums that has pics.

To the Other Poster lot of turbos only have oil for cooling and no coolant lines,

Good Luck

you'd have to remove the valve cover to see the actual studs

Take off the valve cover, and dab the top of the bolts/studs with paper towel to get the oil off. If they have a hex shaped hole in the top (a spot to insert an allen wrench), they should be arps. The stock head bolts are bolts, not studs. They're bolts with tops. The arp's are studs with a nut that goes down on them. You should be able to tell.
