Question Wideband O2 Sensor/Gauge installed in Test Pipe ??

Hey Guys-

I hope you can help.. I just bought a test pipe that has an o2 bung in the test pipe and I am thinking about using it for my wideband o2 sensor/gauge.. What are your thoughts on this?? I am going to have a complex GT35r Setup and obviously I am not going to want the tune to be off because the wideband is not reading correctly because it is too far away from the turbo.. How many of you are running the wideband o2 in the test pipe (factory cat) location? I really want some straight answers on this from experienced people/tuners/shops.. I can have another bung welded into my downpipe (closer to turbo), but I just wanted to see if I would be "okay" with it in the test pipe location since I already have the bung there..

Please let me know your thoughts/suggestions, etc. Thank You for your time!

In the testpipe is fine. Most of us run ours in place of the rear o2 sensor.

As long as there are no exhaust leaks at the gaskets and flanges you are ok.
