Boost problem. 10 PSI only.

When I was driving i noticed a lack of power on my 2005 EVO. The car was not accelerating as it suppose to. No check engine light or anything like that. I looked at my turbo boost gauge and I noticed that it goes only to 10 PSI (before it was around 20). The ECU and turbo are stock. It happened today (suddenly) and it was never like that. Can anyone help me, please?????

My factory solenoid on my '03 failed and I was boosting right around 10-12 psi all the time, the dealership couldn't figure it out... Wound up putting an MBC in and fixed the problem (and found out what was causing it).

Maybe check your cam position sensor. Mine wasnt completely broke, but it was cracked and you couldnt tell until you looked at it real close. It was causing my car to sputter once it hit like 10lbs.

Check your lines to make sure they didn't come off, sometimes it happens.

You are only running off your WGA pressure. Go check your boost lines.

Look under your intake box. That's where the boost solenoids reside. The lines run from there down to the turbo outlet and to the WGA. They are small, like 10mm black hoses or so. Make sure none are cracked or blown off their fittings. Other than that, check all your intercooler piping for leaks or torn couplers. That's a good beginning..
