You know what, I'm getting ready to buy an Evo V and I've also been having a hard time finding parts and stuff for older JDM Evos. The best thing I found was LancerRegister.com. Check out the marketplace forums out there.

Contact Gassner Rallisports in Germany. The EVO was introduced to the UK and to various Ralliart dealers in Europe starting in 1998. Yeah, the UK won't be able to help you, but maybe the German contact can.

It depends on what parts your looking for.

The rear diff, rear axles, etc are the same 5-9.

Gearbox (5spd) is the same 4-9.

Turbo is the same. Koyo makes an Evo 6 rad you can get in the states.

Engine is the same.

For some parts which are not the same, your only choice might be Japan or UK.

For LHD Evo 6 like someone said perhaps Germany or Europe.

www.rhdjapan.com in Tokyo. It's an outfit owned by two american expats who've been in the business for over 10 years now. Go to the site, sign up for membership and ask them specifically what you want. Pricing and stuff has always been competitive and they run deals. Totally professional staff and always quick with the responses and getting the stuff sent out. GL, broham!

RHDjapan is a good source and get alot of parts and they ship to the states. Camskills is good for OEM parts but doesnt carry a whole bunch of aftermarket parts. If so they are a bit on the pricey side. For you Japan guys look on Yahoo auction Japan and Upgarage too used parts sites that are awesome... The used parts market in Japan is huge you just gotta know how to get the parts.

Yeah... Up Garage... Memories of going in there and blowing my paycheck for stuff I didn't really need

On the other hand, I just remembered... broham has a LHD V-VI, so I suppose the stuff he may be looking for is only in Europe. Here in Bahrain, the agent started bringing in the EVO back during the EVO VI, but they don't carry anything here. OEM pillars and stuff... it shouldn't be any different from Japan, so I am gonna say RHDJapan for even the OEM because those guys hooked me up with OEM GTR engine pieces, exterior and interior stuff when I needed it because they will get stuff for anyone even if it's not listed on the site.

I own an Evo IV and a couple of Evo VI street cars, all LHD, and have some experience with parts interchangeability (including some US cars ).

Do you just need aftermarket stuff like gauge pods (no help here), or OEM stuff as well ?

Last edited by Dmitri-57; Jul 3, 2009 at 12:32 AM. Reason: forgot the all-important LHD note

^^ I need to know where to find a gauge pod....

Ever since I got my V, I found numerous places that sell stuff for JDM Evos. Mostly in the UK, though. If you need to know where to find certain things, post them up!
