I actually had 1.5 of each....I will be pushing a bit more power now (went from an FP Green that was effed up, clipped turbine, wouldnt hold more than 23psi to an FP Red) so I will probably do 2 MT90s and 1 MTL for a little better gear protection. The car shifts like a dream even WOT shifting at 8500rpm with gobs of 11 sec. passes and lots of hard street driving (83,000+ miles) I have a slight 5th gear grind at high rpm if I dont rev match which is almost unavoidable with the miles I have...ever since I installed my QM twin disc, I havent missed a shift yet!

To each his own on the fluid...I just went with what JShep (the man as we know it when it comes to EVO/DSM drivetrains) told me to use personally and it has worked flawlessly...no shifting issues at 83,000 miles and fluid that comes out looking unused everytime I change it. That is 83,000 miles with over 400awhp and LOTS of 6000rpm launches and WOT shifting and a QM twin disc and push style TOB...BADASS car btw. I am sure the AMS oil is great but I just prefer with what I KNOW works.

AMS oil is great for the motor , tranny and TC and rear diff, the tranny will quiet down and shift way better than anything out there.

apparantly ther has been over 5 threads of members stating the same results about the tranny fluid

Well I may give it a shot with the motor oil...puting in some drop in JEs and Manley rods here soon...as far as my high mileage tranny that (cross my fingers) has given me zero probs with the redline I will stick with the current...I am open minded but I have been flat out amazed with how well my redline cocktail has worked...maybe after a tranny freshening up I will give the AMS oil a try!
