are the Kelford Hydraulic Camshaft Set 272/272 ok with the stock turbo? or should i go with 264/270's

Hmmm Kelford 272s or GSC S2s??? Haven't seen a good comparison of the two.

Those were evo 8 cams, whole different story. Also the kelfords and cosworths are practically identical on paper, so if you're worried about your cossies underperforming against the kelfords, don't sweat it, there is very little difference according to ttp.

i know i need springs when upgrading the cam's but do i need retainers? and what brand should i go with?

i would stay away from a 4 puck,....you have no idea what your getting into.....goodluck if you go that route.

best cams IMO are Kelford.

in your situation.....Kelford 272's would be nasty.

FP's cams have idling issues.

I have seen negligible gains with cams on 9s on the stock turbo. Definitely great for upgraded turbos but i would invest the money into something else.
