are the Kelford Hydraulic Camshaft Set 272/272 ok with the stock turbo? or should i go with 264/270's

 

Hmmm Kelford 272s or GSC S2s??? Haven't seen a good comparison of the two.

 

Has this been proven?

 

if there are any vendors that can give me a bit of a deal on-- Fidanza 3.2 Clutch Kit and fidanza light weight aluminum flywheel, cobb evo test pipe, apr head studs, Kelford Hydraulic Camshaft 264/270 set with springs and head gasket, please pm me

 

the cosworth's werent in the AMS testing, but kelfords were top of the 272 class

 

Those were evo 8 cams, whole different story. Also the kelfords and cosworths are practically identical on paper, so if you're worried about your cossies underperforming against the kelfords, don't sweat it, there is very little difference according to ttp.

 

Definetly go with the Kelford 272s there are awesome

i know i need springs when upgrading the cam's but do i need retainers? and what brand should i go with?

 

i would stay away from a 4 puck,....you have no idea what your getting into.....goodluck if you go that route.

best cams IMO are Kelford.

in your situation.....Kelford 272's would be nasty.

FP's cams have idling issues.

what clutch setup do you recommend?

 

I have seen negligible gains with cams on 9s on the stock turbo. Definitely great for upgraded turbos but i would invest the money into something else.

 

depends on what kind of cam u want
