yes it is quite pricy but a clutch is one of the mods you want to spend some money on. I had the ACT street clutch and I liked it a lot but when I need a new one it's exedy all the way. It's so butter. In the choice between Fidanza and ACT it's ACT all the way!!!

I had a Exedy twin in my old 8 and loved it. It sure seemed to take a beating alot better than the stocker thats for sure. After it was put in, I noticed the car shifted so much better. It was like a whole new tranny was in it. I believe I had the SD in mine. I will probably be going with it again.

i'm starting to think about spending the money on an fp-red and saving up for some other mod then get everything installed, and just do the clutch for now. what do you guys think? or should i just mod now and upgrade the turbo later, i'm so confused right now just need a little insight on this matter. plus i'm a little bit worried about the stock 6sp with the fp-red setup i dont want to have to rebuild the tran's right away ya kno, do you guys think it will hold up?? thanks

^stock 6 speed will be fine. The overheating problem comes from long tracking periods.

can someone comment on choosing the right size combination when it comes to achieving the most power while mantaining the dd idle rate.
Also, assume that the op is planning on going with the fp red turbo upgrade, would he regret his cam choices now after he upgrades the turbo? or do most of those work well with teh stock appearing turbos?
Thanks, and this is one of the most beneficial threads. gl to u bbyevo8u1
