some type of problem..please help.

i have a cf hood and it has no piece to block the water from going directly in the engine (like all others). so last night i was driving and it started to rain hard and my car stalled i found that the fuse in the engine bay with the little engine symbol fuze blew i put a new one in and drove to try and get home and 10 minutes it blew again. any ideas on what this could be im really hoping water just hit something and it will be fine when its dry

cut out the grille on the aftermarket hood and sandwich your stock louvre/grill on there.

if you need any help on how to do it, I can explain. I did the same to my c/f hood.

My Evo didn't come with a rain protector for the stock hood. How harmful is it for rain/snow to get into the engine bay? I use a car cover when I think the weather is getting bad.

1. put the stock mesh on top of the hood
2. put the stock vent underneath the hood (put mesh studs through the holes in the vent)
3. put a big enough washer to cover the bolt hole on the vent and secure with self-locking nut

there you go! all you have to do is sandwich that vent and mesh onto the hood scoop lip!
