Installed clutch, cannot rev high.

I know that a lot of people have problems shifting at high rpms once they install the ACT clutch kit. My car is having a slightly different problem. At first it would stumble at 3k. After a few minutes that went away, it now revs over that with no problems but now it will not rev past 4500 rpms, it hits a rev limited. They only light I have on is a service engine soon light, which I doubt would throw the car into some kind of limp mode. Anyone have any clue why it might be doing this?

Your MAF connection... you probably forgot to plug it back in or it was in partially. That or the UICP isn't installed correctly and your MAF and the MAP are just reading crazy stuff bcuz the piping isn't sealed correctly. Just my two cents. GL.

Yeah I suspected something wrong with the MAF but I don't remember unpluging it, I'm going to check today. Thanks.

It has to be it or any of the piping you took off to facilitate the gearbox removal. Make sure all the pipes are connected properly with the couplers. It's happened to most of us.

I scanned it yesterday and got a code for MAF, MAP, and IAT. It let me erase the MAF code but not the other two so I'm going to reinstall the piping and check the connectors.

Nah, I inspected **** and my IAT wasn't plugged in all the way. I still have an MIL but my engine is revving at normal speed again and as high as it should. I'm assuming the MIL will be gone after the required amount of drive cycles are read.

I cleared the MAF code with the scanner, it's the IAT and MAP that wouldn't let me clear them. I'm assuming the IAT is gone now since I plugged it in. I don't know about the MAP though.

The MAP sensor code? It will clear after a few cycles, unless you unplugged it.
