I know a lot of people are happy with the bushwacker transmission.

Venting I suppose. I wasn't asking for advice on how to deal. I was was asking to see what my options are. Wife wants me to call and speak to Shep directly. I don't want to **** them off but I do think for the times I was given its been a little excessive. I want the best which is why i went with Shep....just the expectations set based on turnaround times is a little frustrating. I would like to drive my car.

*sigh*. I need to just man up call John and talk with him directly.

I've bought a few things from Shep and must say he is the nicest guy to talk to and always returns emails / phone calls. If your tranny is delayed I'd bet it is for logical reasons.

Yeah I guess I'm just being a *****. I'm trying not to crack out. So I spoke with Trevor and he said there must've been some confusion on the initial call...the tcase's were a 1 weeks turnaround. he recieved my tranny on the 18th. 4 weeks is the turnaround from the date hegets it so he said it will be another week and half to 2 weeks before they get to it and he'd call me when they do.

I will try to be more patient. If I had known it was going to take this long I might went a different route but whats done is done so I'll have to wait. i hope this is all worth it. I don't want to have to go through this again.

I've talked to a couple people who said jack's has been a little slow but things might have picked up.

As far as having you stuff at shep's for 4 weeks now that kinda sucks cause you cant drive but im sure he is working as hard as he can to bust it out.

Oh ya, Shep ftw!

I live in Howell and never heard of Dog Box Racing, lol... They need to get some exposure if they're that good...

I'm in the process of doing business with ShepTrans. My experience for what it's worth - I called them a few weeks ago about my Trans/TC build. They answered the phone promptly, answered every question that I had and were very professional. They informed me on that call that the TC would only be around a week, but they currently had 75 Trans on back log and the wait would be three to four weeks - I was not in a total rush so I excepted those terms.

The pick up boxes arrived days later, and I got both parts shipped right out... I receive a call the day they received my parts and they reviewed the work to be performed again and gave me options on whether I wanted the TC held to be shipped with the Trans once completed or hold it until the Trans is done and ship them together, I opted to have them shipped together.

A week or so passed and I get another call from ShepTrans and they inform me that the TC is done and the Trans is a couple weeks out - they again asked if I wanted the TC shipped or held and shipped together with the Trans - I again opted to have it held and shipped with the Trans.

As you can see, the communication that I've received to date from ShepTrans is excellent. I'll keep you posted on how things progress...

I love when people tells others who are upset about being LIED TO BY A SHOP to calm down, relax, chill, etc. He was told a week, its now 4, I'd personally be furious at this point. I can understand delays and being busy, but if you're so backed up give a more realistic estimate. Saying 1 week and that turning into 4 is just a flat out lie. When it comes to customer service I'm very demanding and I expect honesty before spending my money, and unfortunately, it seems like most Evo shops fail when it comes to that. I have dealt with some great companies who are vendors on this board so they're definitely out there, you just need to search a bit first. I was always under the impression that Shep was a lot better at this than TRE was but obviously that is no longer the case.
