RMR intake and full turbo back. Amazing spool up. Soon to have SAFC with Buschur's #'s that I am sure will make even more power.

How much of dif. is it? Are we talking wheel spinning dif off the line or in terms of 4.6 down to 4.0 on 0-60?

Well it's really hard to get rid of turbo lag. The smaller turbo you use, the better the low end power at the cost of high end power. To really bring down your 0-60, I would think that a new clutch + NOS will do the job. The other solution is an expensive solution - to increase the displacement of the engine.

Dunno if it's the "best", but if you rev to about 5K or so and slip the clutch a bit to load the engine and spool the turbo, you can get killer slingshot launches...kinda hard on the stock clutch, though...so don't do it all the time...

I wes reading turbo magazine and they claimed that a bigger intercooler increased spool by 200rpm and a turbo back increased spool time by 500rpm. So figure thats 700rpm they claim... and if our turbo hits hard at 3500rpm figure you'll have spool at 2800rpm. if this is true.... then great!

The best off the line solution is something called a sutter box. It works kinda like an anit-lag system and retards the timing thus putting more load on the engine and lets u build boost. So all in all, u can come out of the hole with almost full boost.

I understand the high rev take off's, but yes thats a killer on the clutch! I like the turbo back and intake set up's! EVO-BILL you some mods there, how much beter or worse than stock is your set up?

u can pull some great launches on the stock clutch if done right...
but do some simple mods to get ur turbo spooling such as exhaust and intake... upgrade ur clutch when it needs to be...
with my setup i get full boost at 3k... power is great in all but when you keep adding something.. something else is gonna break... well im my case at least

I'm talking wheels spinning off the line. I would have thought it would be slower off the line, but because the turbo spools up much faster, it is better off the line.

I really like my mods, u can really feel the difference. I like slipping the clutch for launches, they just feel so much faster than just popping it. I'm really interested in doing a stutter box on my car so I can launch with almost full boost.

yeah EVO-Bill tell me when you figure something out on that stuttler box, my friend Chris Wertz swears by those things for consistant launches.

I'm thinking of using the one from MSD, but I would rather just save for the EMS system because it just has so much more.
