Fitting size for stock fuel line to fuel rail?

What is the fitting kind and thread size to mate with the upper end of the stock fuel line in the engine compartment? Anyone know the proper fitting size?

Are you talking about the fuel rail inlet and return ? The fuel rail itself has bolted o-ring seals.

While the return off the fpr is just a hose fitting. The return back to the tank is also just hose clamped.

The car's feed itself is -6an. Slow boy sells the adapter's for the fuel rail. I have a extra one also.

I appreciate your reply, but that's not what I'm asking. I know all the sizes for the aftermarket rail end of the line.

What I'm asking is the size and thread of the fitting required to connect an aftermarket FEED line to the STOCK HARD FUEL FEED LINE, not the part at the rail. This is the part that is needed if you don't replace the stock fuel hard line with AN-6 fuel line.

What your asking I did answer. The hard feed line from the tank is a -6an fitting. I re-did my fuel lines in stainless steel.

I just wasnt sure which of the two. I kind of figured you knew what fitting the fuel rail was but I just wanted to be sure.

I appreciate your reply.

The hard line from the tank is not a AN- fitting. OEM Japanese manufacturers do not use the AN- system for their fittings. The OEM factory fitting threads into a metric 14mm x 1.5 thread, and the hard steel line has an internal flare. I just don't know what the degree of the internal flare degree is, or which aftermarket fitting will mate up with it perfectly.

Anyone measured it or have exact data to share?

Alright but the threads must be the same because I did it. With the -an fitting you wont have to worry about the flare.

At least if you dont find the exact fitting and flare I would give the -an fitting a try. Ive had it that way on my car close to 3 years now with out any leaks.

Did you find your fuel line fitting or give the -an fitting a try ? Im was curious if you what your replacing your fuel line with ? S.S. or Kevlar ? Or something else ?

Im going to re-do mine I think right from the tank to the front with the kevlar. I want to check and see if anyone got the dual relay set up from the factory ecu to the fuel pump working for twin walbro's.

If not I think Im going to try it. At school Ill be able to pull up the relay diagram on there program and I think Im going to use each of there relay's trigger to switch a set of two relays one for each walbro. This way they have direct 12v power and are switched on from the ecu relay's.

This is what I used for my 6AN line - worked perfect, no leaks.

just to be clear because i seem to be having the same issue. I have a speed injected fuel rail that i want to install for my new injectors. the fuel rail has -6an fittings on either side of the rail. What your saying is i can have a -6an to -6 an line made (about 1 1/2 feet) to connect my aftermarket rail to the factory hard line that sits under the hood?
