Want to decrease engine movement.

I want to get rid of that feeling when your shifting hard of the whole drive train knocking back and forth. So I'm considering picking up some upgraded mounts or an engine torque dampener. What would be the best choice for these?

Mounts....If it is a street car, you may not want to go with a solid mount as it will cause excess vibration in the cabin....A nice AMS / BR / etc mount will do just fine...

I'd also like to get a set of nice mounts.. I have a track car so Im looking for something solid or like a 90 durometer mount.. Who makes the best stuff?

Avid seems reasonably but I'm not too familiar with aftermarket mounts

Which mounts would you recommend upgrading first, I've usually seen them sold individually.

i would think the side passenger mount and the front mount will make the largest difference.. then the drivers side tranny mount and the rear mount which also supports the tranny..

not 100% sure though?

The front lower engine mount is supposed to be the biggest improvement for the money, I noticed a difference...I also just installed the side mounts, car should be back together today or tomorrow so hopefully I can give a nice back to back on just the sides vs front.

Buschur 's mounts are definately stiffer than AMS's not sure of the duro numbers. Werd to the wise, DO NOT replace just the front tranny mount, I did and it rapidly wears all the other mounts. If I could do it over I would get just the front and rear tranny mounts.

haha, i have front and rear full replacement solid motor mounts and torque damper. the motor feels a lot stiffer and sensitive but you definately suffer with vibration and noise haha.

Avid has a full set for replacing the mounts, I know avids from building Honda's but I don't know the quality of Mitsubishi stuff, anyone hear anything about that set? I don't mind the vibration of noise at all, I just want that **** to sit tight.
