So guys my engine has a whole new noise again. So its two different problems now. There are a few routes I can take.

Master Engine Rebuild - $250 for the kit then hourly work on top of that.

Engine swap a lower mileage 4G94 engine in. Not sure the cost of an engine but the hourly should be less than a complete rebuild.

Engine swap a 2.4 ralliart engine in. This is easier than the Mivec but not as rewarding.

Engine swap a 2.4 Mivec engine in. This is the most rewarding, but most expensive route.

What do you guys think I should do? I'll give a little more info saying I know someone who has a slew of evo parts. Literally anything I can name he has. So for now I'm thinking lowest cost is good, so I can boost soon. Rebuild perhaps? that way my engine is 100% and then when and if I want to engine swap, I can sell a beautiful engine. But I want to boost SO BADLY.

 

IF I had to pick one of those options I'd swap a lower mileage 94.

 

What I'm thinking now is save all my money for an LLT Racing 2.4 MiVEC 4G92 DOHC engine into the car. Rarely drive when I'm at school so I doubt the engine will blow until I have enough for it. That way I'm fresh still no more problems and then on top of that my 175+ hp MiVEC go bwaaaah... (sorry)
