Yeah, I actually don't like the way it sounds in the vid. With the straight pipe it sounds a little tractor like. Not as bad in person. That mic picks up everything ha. Needs a resonator atleast but I doubt that happens anytime soon lol.
really nice work and write up man! i was curious as to how one would check valve guide clearance for a particular cam as you discussed briefly. preferably with the motor fully assembled. there's been some odd issues around here involving stem seals being pulled off with high lift cams on built heads with after market guides that could be related to guide height. what would be some of the characteristics in a running engine that didn't have enough guide clearance and how do you measure this clearance. thanks.
