EPM O2 dump gasket

I recently bought a used EPM dump, but USPS ended up crushing the box during shipping and consequently crushed and messed the gasket all up to the point where I don't think I can use it anymore. Does anyone know what kind of gasket EPM ships their dumps with, or if Advance Auto/NAPA would even sell such a gasket? I know I can't use the stock one, so that's out of the question.

Also, does a typical auto store sell the donut gaskets for the DP?

I was reading on here when I searched that you cannot use the stock gasket with the EPM dump. Q himself from EPM confirmed that in a thread. Are you running the EPM dump? It doesn't appear so in your sig?

You cannot use the factory gasket.. you will leak exhaust out the dump tube.. Put copper spray on it from napa or any auto parts and bolt it on.. It wont leak if both surfaces are flat.. We installed 20 of them this way before the gaskets even existed..

I was on a break from meetings and I got a chance to log on and caught this. Wait a second so if you use a stock OEM gasket you will hear exhaust leak from the dump tube? So the dump is supposed to be 100% silent during idle?

I recently got the epm dump from awdm, should I use the gasket included? My friend works for a shop and looked at the gasket and thinks it'll blow out.. Should I just use my gasket maker and skip the included gasket?

if ur hearing noise at idle u have 1 of 2 probs....either the gasket is leaking, or ur wga needs to be tightened (this was my issue)

This thread is hurting my brain... I would think you would know how a part works before buying it... The purpose of a o2 dump is to expell the wastegate gasses out of the exhaust system when it opens. And since the wastegate only opens when you reach a certain boost level like 18psi for me, you should not hear/feel exhaust coming out of that dump pipe at all until the wastegate opens...

Research before you buy...
