id check the the plug and make sure all the plugs are plugged in. i'd also pull the ecu plugs or disconnect the battery for a few min to reset it.

I have done that a few times but nothing. with the codes im pulling that i wasn't before i would assume that its the maf but if my friend put it in his car and it worked what does that mean? he didn't disconnect his battery so could that be while it still worked/

What you need to check is his maf in your car. If the car runs your maf is mucked and if it doesnt then something else is the issue.

As far as i can tell from what you've told us... your throwing MAF codes and having maf issues, so it really seems like that would be the issue.

And as i was saying before if you have a "Good" scanner you can look in the PID Data and it'll show you your MAF voltage in real time or you can just use EvoScan to check it.

Find someone with a used MAF, spray it out with a LITTLE MAF cleaner, let it dry, and bolt it in. Make sure plug is properly seated, make sure all other hoses/connections are good....heck, RUN A BOOST LEAK TEST! Then fire it up, good to go.

look in your intake, no tools or rags in there? sounds like your MAF is fine, I would try to unplug it then start the car, it should start and idle somewhat normal ( not perfect). Did you do any other maintence on the car the day you cleaned the Maf....the problem could be elsewhere

No all I did was that and put on a new hose for my bov which i checked to leaks already. Im gonna hook it back up now and see what happens after letting it dry out for a little bit. im gonna check my plugs to maybe just to see if they could be hurting me too. any other options with those codes being thrown?

Your Maf sensor is fine. People make the MAF out to be some type of bomb ready to go off at the slightest touch. All it is a simple diode.

I guarantee your plug from the wiring harness to the MAF is at fault. Which is why those codes are being thrown. Try pushing the wires back into the plug a little. Also make sure they are not rubbing on anything like a hose clamp for the intercooler piping.

A friend of mine had this exact problem when we installed his intake. The wires separated from the inside and looked fine from the outside. Took us forever to find out but when he threw the same codes as you the powers of deduction left the only cause. We just pushed the wiring into the weatherproof connector and it worked just fine.

yeah it does sound like its a wiring problem not the actual sensor maybe when you pulled it apart you pulled too hard and the wires separated

Im gonna go and triple check the harness and make sure the wires are not coming out. would the wires explain why under full boost it almost runs perfect but anything before that its garbage?
