I would check your ground cable that attaches to one of the top bolts that holds your trans to block. If that is good I would check if any wires got pinched between the bell housing and block or down by the transfer case. Does your SES light come on with key in run position? Possibly blown fuse from starter removal (if battery was not disconnected prior to removing starter). Who did the clutch install? Have they ever done an evo before?

did you put the grounds back in the correct places? sounds like something is hooked up wrong. i remember i had a customer bring his car in for overheating and his fan was not coming on. didnt come on with the a/c so i replaced the motor. still inop. he told me a buddy just installed a clutch. looked around and found the ground wires at the tranny were barely touching. re- installed and all better. good luck.

ECU wouldn't have fried jus because you change clutch. Possible there might be one connector not fully contact or plug yet.

My car jumped timing when I had the tranny out, I was baffled. How sure are you that you have the timing exactly correct? now that you have the head back post up compression test results again

ok i just did the compression test.. 90-95 across... makes no sense really...
timing is on... only part that is not lined up is the oil pump... the small gear witht he white mark... i do not have a balance shaft on the motor...

i took the hks dli off which stopped the coil getting hot...

still will no start only cranks... sound like an aem before it turns over...

all cables are connected...
