I have 32K on my evo ix gsr and recently I found this in my engine bay. Is this normal? and is it under warranty?

 

idk jus looks like a little rust and its dirty, as long as its not damaging your serpentine belt, or fallen off its fine, try runnin ur finger on it and makin sure its nice and smooth, you can always take it to the dealership

but, they'll probably jus try and sell you something lol

 

lol thanks. some of my friends tell me its just grime and dirt also but looking up close it looks like there's a line running down the pulley.

 

Last time I've noticed I think mine looks like that too so no worries

 

what is that the crank pulley! i have heard story about those pulley going bad, thats why i upgraded to fluidampr!

 

i thought it was the crank pulley also but some of my friends who looked at the car says the crank pulley sits under this pulley and that this wasnt the crank pulley

 

that is what mine looks like too so i hope it is normal

 

i think it is the cranks pulley!

 

thats the water pulley i believe. looks fine to me
