Low Tranny fluid?
Low Tranny fluid?
Just started driving my evo again after a pretty big build. the car has been fine and was fine all last night just cruisin around town, this morning i get in it start it and go to drive, out of no where its hard getting into 2nd no grinds and then into 3rd there is a light grind that you can definitely notice.. i didnt miss any shifts the passed few days and i havent been beating on it. I pulled the top filler plug and i heard you should have tranny fluid up to the top of that filler hole and i cant see any in it... is it low should there be fluid up to filler hole and is this normal for low fluid??
BTW this is a brand new built shep trans with less than 250 miles on it.

actually there should be fluid to the top of that filler hole and also there should be enough so that a couple drops come out the filler hole.
your tranny is low on oil like your topic states and that is not good,

the car is mostly level but im an idiot and was adding it in the wrong whole. i just opened the filler hole which is on the front of the tranny not the top haha im an idiot i dont know why i dont remember what hole! i opened it and fluid started rushing out hahahaha i just added like an extra quart. soo now im onto clutch pedal adjustment but here is my question about that.. i was told to push the rod in towards the firewall but its already about as far out as it will go??? what should i do?

when it says move it higher would that mean i am turning the rod so its coming further out from the firewall or moving it so its getting closer to the firewall?
