HELP!! Suction pipe leak

I discovered a 1cm long crack on the suction pipe between the MAS and the turbo. Would this cause any problem? Do I need to replace it?
Could this be the reason why my max boost comes very late at 4800 rpm?

I do not think thats the reason for your max boost comes at 4800 rpm, but it may cause some air/fuel mixture problem, because you said the crack is between the MAS and turbo, so you will get more air beside the air flow though the MAS, MAS did not know you have a leak, and actually you got more air in !! just use a tape or something cover the crack and try running the car to see if it make a difference !! let us know.
