SKUNK2 PRO SERIES 68mm TB

Im looking at the skunk2 pro series 68mm TB. has any one ever used this and does any one know if it leaks? I have to have one that will mount up to stock mounts and this is the biggest TB that will mount up to the stock mounts. I dont really want to ship off my core and wait for it to come back or front the money till i get a refund to get it milled and ported.

putting on a bigger tb without port matching the manifold is pointless. either do it right or dont waste your time.

the skunk2 t/b is known to leak real bad. i heard a rumor that skunk2 did a recall and fixed the issue. but i dont know if thats really true or not or if they even fixed it since no one has reported about one not leaking.

also boomba racing makes some sick bolt on T/B's

ok so have it port match then. again stock or aftermarket mani without a port match to the t/b is not ideal.

Pile of crap IMO. I dyno-tested one for Skunk2 and the thing was garbage. It wouldn't idle and it leaked a lot of air. Then they gave me a hard time about returning it and kept claiming it was "fine" and the leaks were "normal" and I just needed to gob some RTV on it; yeah right, this isn't a rusty 1992 Honda Civic. Go with a 65mm ported unit, they aren't as sexy looking on the outside, but the insides are quality and they're proven to work time and time again. I personally opted for the Mil.Spec.

Any other options available that use the stock idle air controller?

Our 75mm TB uses stock TPS and idle controller.
