kia or evo block in 4 cylinder dragster
hi, i am building a 4 cylinder dragster with a big *** turbo, for the motor i had a block sitting around the shop, its a kia block(says on the side), its a 4g64 2.4 liter n i am making it a 2.6, does anyone know if i will have any problems with it, plus with the heads i got a gen 2 head i was going to port them but i am proble going to buy a gen1 head.

There's only 1 or 2 2.6L kits out there, and I've never seen a really fast car running one. I think the fastest DSMs run 2.0s because of the higher revving capability on a big turbo is more drag friendly then lower revs on a stroker. But you may be able to buck the trend i dunno.
I'm assuming by gen 1 and gen 2 heads, you must mean the dohc heads off of a 1G Eclipse (Talon or Laser) vs a 2G Eclipse (Talon). Although it is highly debatable at this point, 1G heads are considered superior for drag racing becaise they have fatter shorter runners then the 2G heads.
