Just installed my clutch last week, it's an Exedy Hyper Single, and a Fidanza lightweight flywheel. I have done a 500 mile break in, and was cruising in 3rd gear and hopped on it a bit and boosted hard (set to 22 psi, but only went to maybe 9 or 10) the car accelerated normally, and pulled harder than it ever has, but i heard an extremely loud whine, almost like a supercharger whine, I never really got to drive the car hard before I did the clutch so I'm not sure if this is normal.. It really could have been a boost leak they can sound really odd at times... I'm a little worried.

I am having 0 other issues engaging gears, shifting or anything, no other odd noises other than drive train noise related to having a light weight flywheel. I will continue to drive it, and boost hard and see what happens. I can record the sound if that could help anyone...

Well, I've put about 2500 kms on the car since I put the clutch in, the whine has gone away under hard boost, but now I've gotten more issues..

Some new noises from the drivetrain, Clutch in or out it still makes the noise, on deceleration there's a good whine from somewhere I cannot locate yet.. and yesterday when moving slowly in a parking lot, i released the throttle while still in first gear and heard a "clank" noise from the front, and did it a couple more times and it kept doing it, a mechanic friend says it might be a loose trans mount..

Just drove it into the garage and out and back in, the car didn't make any clanking noises this time ugh. Everyday there's a new noise, any suggestions guys?
