You're more than welcome to come over and check out the parts before you buy. Like I said, I'm really impressed with this TB. I actually just purchased this car a couple months ago and yes it is caged. You probably seen it back when it was Marks (previous owner) since he lived close to Chambers and e470. I'm just West on C470 and University. He went by EpicEvo and the car ran a 10.2 @ 139 last year. I'm just trying to make it faster...

Damn thats HUGE! How much power are you running? Thats a Mustang TB so maybe its just mine. I know it was sitting on the shelf for awhile from a local shop here in Denver so maybe the newer manifolds don't have this issue. And again, its just a little off but I can't install the bolts until I hone out the TB a little. Even the Magnus spacer is this way and it doesn't matter which way the throttle body is rotated.

^^^ AWD Motorsports is using a Driven Innovations manifold, not a Magnus cast V5 -- so it has nothing to do with this thread topic

Did you have to modify your UICP or do you expect to have to modify it if you haven't test fit it yet? Which pipe are you running?

I haven't got that far yet but yes, the UICP pipe will have to be modified to fit. The manifold makes the TB hang down lower and also angles it. I'm currently running a custom UICP.

Are you planning to have this on your car soon? I am thinking about doing this throttle body with the AMS VSR intake manifold. (Def. won't forget the special Boomba adapter though ) Let us know how if performs once you get it on. I'm interested to see how it works at lower RPM.

Our TB mounts directly to AMS manifolds with Mustang 5.0 bolt patterns. No adaptors are needed.

We use o-ring to seal TB to manifold or adaptor. Special gaskets come with Mustang 4.6 and Q45 adaptor kits only.

Got to figure out how to double quote. I'll get to that right after I get the Magnus manifold installed
