Tuned stock MAF pipe vs Tuned 3" MAF pipe?
My car is currently running a cone filter on the stock MAF but with the stock MAF pipe. Would I be likely to gain anything from putting an aftermarket MAF pipe? I self-tune and can fix any anomolies created by the aftermarket pipe, but is it even worth bothering? Anyone else done this comparison already with both setups tuned, same filter for both? FWIW, I'm making around 400-440 whp with a Red.
Thanks!
Thanks!
[quote=EmeryatSTM;7261232]We tested this not to long ago with the JM fab intake and found about 7 whp on our mustang dyno. The test was done with two evo 8's that were both running stock turbos.
Emery, did you guys ever test speed density vs the MAF Pipe? Any gains?
EmeryatSTM: Pm'd
