MAF or SD? BOV ReCir or VTA?

ok got all the previous owners crap undone except the crummy injen piping, im replacng that and tring to figure out what is best to go with in terms of intake, pipes, BOV VTA or Recir, SD or stock MAF or GM Maf.
Im trying to decide if its better to Go SD and delete the MAF or keep the maf and keep the Recirculating BOV. If i go SD id go with the tial VTA for a cleaner look under the hood and not having the restricking maf. I recently got rid of the honeycomb thing on the MAf and noticed a HUGE difference in the bucking at low RPM and throttle response. so my question is who has SD done and how hard was it to tune? noticable changes?

unknown cams, Car has vac of 16 at idle, tuned for 26PSI. Stock throttle body but looking at 68 or 70 MM with a new intake as a possiblitly. Has not been to the Real Dyno yet, but from my Evoscan files and Virtual Dyno i have seen a run as high as 392HP and as low as 352HP not sure of why the difference the average seems to be 377HP between all logs. Stock fuel injectors,Rail. walbro 255 pump, Boomba manual boost controler.
I tuned it myself and have the logs if needed and my maps.
It hits 26 psi and tapers down to about 21-22psi and holds, boost starts to kick in at about 3400RPM.
This is all on 93 Octane, most hit of knock i have ever seen was 2 counts thats it.

There is no reason You should be switching to SD at this point, If you had HUGE cams it will help with driveability, TB same deal.

Thats my opinion, i wouldnt do it unless i had huge cams or had a VTA BOV, And most of the time people start running those over 500WHP

I have Cosworth M2's, and am running a Tial Q/AEM. I will never go back to stock ecu/maf. Its insane the difference. I use STM's upper ICP kit, and STM's 3" SD Intake, works and looks wonderfully.

Sd is wonderful my car with basic hks cams was much easier for me to tune sd vs maf. For a pro maf may be just as capable .. its your preference though.. if youre diehard vta go sd.
