Ok so I wanted a Tial 50mm but i found out that i wud have to go with a mini battery setup and thats even more money. So my question wud be wut wud be the next best bov for a ets stock uicp setup ???

I was looking at the turbosmart dual port since its suppose to hold up to 60+ and can be converted from recir now to vta wen i go SD, wut u all think? give me feedback cus im still a lil bit of a newb but im learning fast

Don't need more then a stock one for the mods you have. DO NOT WASTE THE MONEY on a VTA BOV. I had one, what a waste! The driveability sucks. Mini Batteries are over rated anyway. I did the trick with a Mazda Miata battery! $50 from the dealer, "mini" enough to fit other stuff around the UICP.

I would like to get rid of my mini battery setup and go with the Miata battery, what did you do to install it? Did you use the Evo's factory batt. base and tie downs?

can you say highjacked....

to the OP the stock IX MR bov is one of the best for a lightly modded car... you can pick one up on here more then likely or on lancershop for about 150... i had mine pushing 30psi and never noticed it leaking although i'm sure it did... best of all its still recirc so no drivability issues...

Get the Tial QR now with the adapter I posted, it recirculates and will work with your future turbo upgrade, plus recirculating IMO is better the venting imo, modified magazine or one of those tuner mags did a test on vent vs recirc and the switch to vent lost a couple hp consistently. I was on SD for a while and the power through the shifts felt better recirculating rather then venting.
