Ive been using basically the same thing. Except Ive put in 2 quarts MT90 and top off with BG syncroshift II. Seems great except when freezing or cold out. Then its a lil thick til a lil heat gets in it.

Ive only been using the BG cause I get it for next to nothing do to knowing a BG dealer. But they dont make a 75-90. Just a 75-80 thats too thin for the gears at high torque loads or shock loads.

I've used Redline mix, OEM and amsoil. The amsoil seems much smoother. i haven't used amsoil yet in the winter time so taht will be the big test really. I'm sure it will be slightly notchy but i'm hoping not as notchy as the other 2.

Out of all 3, the redline was the worse. It was notchy all the time. This is in an 05 MR by the way. The amsoil is also 1/3 the price of OEM.

Looks like amsoil, i might have to try that. not one person used the purple drank huh?good to know i was using synchromesh 2 but due to that piece of crap nascar race there was none left in town.

def was loud i will say that i have the exedy twin disc and it rattles but hopefully that gets low quieter with amsoil.

I ran Pennzoil Synchromesh, and when Jon@TRE tore it apart for a broken 3rd gear, he told me the tranny had alot of damage from that fluid...

Only AMSOIL from there on out.

I switched from ams oil to redline mt90, noticed a little bit better shifting, but it seems to need to be changed more often, like 6-8k instead of 10k+
I don't mind changing it more often for the super fast shifts I get.

Fluid won't change how the clutch sounds. It's a twin plate so it's "nature of the beast" with those. You will have to live with it. Unless it isn't the clutch making the noise? Does it go away when you push the clutch in?
