Dyno Flash vs. Works vs. Stock Dyno Sheet

Same Car, Same Dyno, Same Day, Same Gas

Let the results speak for themselves.

Can you pick which one is the Dyno Flash?

So the reflashes are the ones with the terrifyingly lean air/fuel ratios?

"terrifyingly lean air/fuel ratios"... maybe on a 850 4 barrel double pumper... you don't even know what timing he is running...

It's really not lean at all. I'm suprised the stock ECU setting is THAT rich though. I mean Lordy! Looks good btw, both Works and DynoFlash. Glad to see results and I love the 3 axis dyno chart. Why not RPM's instead of speed on the X axis though?

How about some overlays of boost. Does your reflash hold boost at 19psi to redline like WORKS?

Yes - if you see my tune is actually a bit richer than Works - beause I am trying to err on the side of saftey. You can safely run up to 12.0 on the a/f but I like to be closer to 11.2 or so to provide a good margin of saftey for varying conditions

No revs cause the dyno shops rev attachment broke - they will have a new one shortly

The stock one is very rich but typically the oem set ups are that way due to the **** gas they sell in CA - lets hope Arnold can do something about that !

When I was in LA two weeks ago I was thinking I would trade the 94 octane gas for the hot surfer girls and beach volleyball playing girls wearing thongs anyday

I use the same reflash device as works so I assume it works in the same exact manner - (a delay in the initialization of the stock boost taper function) - we can not increase the stock boost as it starts on 100% - we can only stop it from tapering

There is a slight inherant taper in the turbo itself which can not be adjusted - it is much less severe than with the stock set up though

Can you comment on the hose assembly that is included with the new WORKS reflash? Do you include anything like this?

We can also do a restrictor modification on the stock boost solinoid hoses. We have that on one car and it does build more of a spike in the boost - however - we feel the stock hose set up combined with our remap of the boost yeilds a smoother result but are willing to do what ever the customer wants

So is the Works reflash the P1 or the P2?
How did you get 3 different ECU's to work on the same car? Did Works program the EcU right there?

First we dynoed the works equiped customer car. Then we reflashed him back to stock and did a few runs. Then we added in our custom dyno tune and dynoed that. It was a great opporunity to make a compasrsion of the 3 maps.

Take out the pill in the line will give you another 20% duty cycle.
