Is the Mini battery strong enough in the Northern States?

Searched with "Mini battery", but couldn't find answers.

Just wondering if the mini batteries are strong enough to start the Evo during the sub-freezing winter months up here in the Northeast?

Does anybody actually have any experience with them in the New England area
in the cold?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Is your car normally in a garage during the night?

My odyssey mini battery lasted through the winter here in Breckenridge. I think the only time it took a few tries to crank over was at -12.

ak47po thanks for the pic, nice idea!
Did you feel a lot of difference after the intercoolerpipe change?

Also, if it can survive Colorado winter, I may consider it.

I 'm in the process of going with Injen pipes, but did not like the way LICP tapers down like stock. Thinking of going with Nisei pipes w/ mini battery in the future.
Thanks guys!

Did the Buschur die on you? How long did it last?
I guess the Odyssey is the way to go.

What about the miata battery? I hear it's small enough to clear the short run UICP's but much more reliable than the evo mini battery kits around.

The battery did die. That was only after my alt died and drained it.. replaced the alt it died, and drained it again.. that finally killed a cell. The battery has done very well for me, and the new one is just as good. starts right up no problems.
As far as it being the best i have no idea. You should figure out what kind of space you will be working with. CCA of each battery. Research will be your best idea.

Hope this helps.

best advice is to relocate it in your trunk and is a LOT cheaper than the mini battery, and it will help with the weight distribution..

So after 3 days w/o driving, the battery died?

Anybody else heard of Miata battery use? Thanks!
