Urgent: Car dies when clutch is engaged

I was driving down the highway and when i was coming to a stop i pushed the clutch in and the car stalls. I immediately started the car again but there was a very loud squeal. Now when i push in the clutch at idle the rpms drop and the car wants to stall. When im moving the car is actually normal.

Like a belt squeal? Might be a bad alternator. Bust out the multimeter and check your battery to see if it's charging. Is the car running rich? Can you tach the car up sitting still or does it choke out? Need more info. to be of any help....

I can actually drive the car fine once i get it moving. I can rev the car fine with it at idle but once i push the clutch in it tries to stall out. The squeal sounds like more metal on metal

When you push the clutch in your disengaging it not engaging it

Sounds like an old DSM crankwalk symptom. Not to worry you as I doubt thats the issue

Sounds to me like your throw-out bearing is shot, this would explain the stalling and the noise

By previous Evo versions do you mean Evo 1 - 6 or are you talking about the 4G63 in the Talon and Eclipses.?

You can't crankwalk a pull type clutch car.

The Carbonetics converts to push, however there is no way it has walked.
