i had that happen to me once, on my evo viii with carbonetic triple, what i did was measure the crank play sticking a screwdriver in the front pulley, found too much play and took the oil pan out and found the trust bearings all mangled in the oil.

A pull type clutch can cause thrust bearing wear but it is on the opposite side. Crank walk is uncommon in our cars but it is possible in any car. Chris Bergeman from HorsePowerFreaks crankwalked two Supra from doing startup calibrations on AEM by starting them about 1000x's with the clutch in. It is possible for any car to get CW but it is not common in most.

found the problem, the tob and the pressure plate seized together. replaced with the spec clutch which fixed the problem, but it is officially the worst clutch in the world.

Car does when clutch is engaged

I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer 5 speed, replaced the slave cylinder the boot was
leaking, once replaced I’ve bleed the system getting solid fluid, go to press the clutch and the car wants to die, if I rev the car up so it won’t die and try to put it into gear it won’t even go into gear, can’t seem to find the problem, e Rey thing worked fine before hand!

I had the same symptom when a clutch spring ejected and wedged itself between the clutch and flywheel in my Galant VR4.
