i have a 2003 evo 8.. I just bought a Evo 9 turbo.. from what i hear i need to buy some kind of conversion kit for the turbo? can anyone tell me or guide me to were i buy this conversion kit so the 9 turbo will work on my car?

u only need the j pipe everything else u can make work there like 40 bucks

the J pipe is that black pipe that comes off the turbo? becasue it if is it came with that... no lines just the turbo and the Black piping off the turbo... i guess it is called the J pipe... so therefore i dont need the conversion kit?

all the other lines u can use u just have to bend them a little to make them work....i bought the entire kit from FP but it was not needed you only need the J pipe

i dont remember what site i found just the j pipe i think i just typed in evo j pipe on google and found one it was around 40 bucks

I am personally going to replace all the lines on my future turbo install. Contact Adam over at modern automotive performance, he usually hooks it up.

 

Did you get the turbo used or new if so how much and where?
