Is there anyway to put a syncro sleeve back on the syncro hub without pulling the gears from the input shaft to slide the syncro sleeve over the springs on to the hub. I recently slide the sleeve down toward the input shaft bEaring and I can't slide it back on the way it came off. Has anyone ever done this and was able to put the sleeve on without pulling thE gears off the input shaft.

the slider is keyed. 6 teeth are taller that the rest. the taller teeth only mate to taller grooves. so yes it goes back on.
