what kind of wastegate do we have?

a. internal(single port actuator)
b. external
c. dual port actuator

 

I belive its (A), an internal, it is definatly not external.

yeah it's an internal, well at least that what you have to set the settings on the Profec-B to.

 

Internal wastegate. This means that the actual waste gate (the flapper door) is located insode the turbo housing. Notice how an external wastegate is usually located on an exhaust manifold or on the downpipe?

You can have an external wastegate, but have it dump back into your exhaust pipe. I have heard people call this an internal wastegate, but that is incorrect jargon. It is simply an external wastegate that the dump tube has been plumbed back in to the exhaust pipe.

Ours is an internal wastegate....
