wastegate actuator

I am trying to test my wastegate actuator. I know you can do this with a vacuum hand pump.

At what psi is the wastegate actuator supposed to open the wastegate?

Also, are you supposed to be able to move the rod on the actuator when you pull up on it?

I am just curious. Why are you trying to test your WGA anyhow? Nothing better to do? JK

Thanks for the help! And ya I'm testing it out of boredom.

I've been troubleshooting a power loss problem for awhile with no luck, and I think its unlikely to be the wg actuator (because I'm also getting knock and misfires), but I might as well rule it out. I might have more than one problem going on here.
