It doesnt cover the 2.2L 63 but its more or less the same as a 2.1L. High rev, 10% more displacement. Somewhat the best of both worlds of a 2.3/2.4 and 2.0.

Thanks, but the 2.1 is based on the 64 block. I'm mainly looking for rod ratios for using standard rod, 153mm rods, and 156mm rods as well as what would be acceptable to have for "dwell" with the pistons being at or close to tdc.

Indeed. Its just an example of rev and capability. They are identical in that nature. In my notes, I see standard rods (150mm) will yield approx 1.60 rod ratio. and 156mm is 1.66. Therefore there really isnt a choice here.. the 156's will be the best out of the 2.

I believe once reading about 162/163 (rr 1.72) having acceptable dwell. Any higher than 1.7 really starts posing a problem at high boost levels though.

I decided to put together a kit using the overstock CP pistons we have, I think you will find the pricing quite attractive

I did 94mm crank, 159mm rods, and OTS Wiseco HD's (1.13" CH) in a 4G64 block. English Racing can sort you all the parts. Tell them you want an R/TErnie 2.2L

I'm working with the 4G64 myself, and its about time to make the decision on which 2.2L setup I go with.

Finally figured out what I'm going to go with if I go this route. Question is, what can I safely rev this to? I know the 2.3 can go to 8500 safely, which is good for about 140mph traps? I'm looking to get a 6466/3788/3794 size turbo and go either 2.0 or 2.2

What can I rev this to?
63 block
Eagle 94mm crank
Manley 150mm turbo tuffs
Manley 2.1/2.2l pistons
Acl bearings

Any info would be great as I'm looking to buy something tonight.
