has anyone else had this problem or know whats goin on?..

(yes i checked for leaks and vac. hoses that came off. cant figure it out.)
i'm just making a guess here . you might be having exhaust reversion due to much overlap of the intake/exhaust cam during idle . which causes the engine temp to increase ...

^^ not sure about this one.. if it was overlap (im guessing you're referring to the cam design itself) wouldnt anyone with identical hks cams have the same issue???

Ive had a over heating problem also. Best thing I think check in the fuse block under the hood and check the relays. There are three of them. Make sure you know how or get some one else too do it. Make sure that the right ones have power and ground. Using a 12 volt test light is fine. I actually had a bad ground from the ecu. It was grounding it out ever time power went to it and would blow a fuse.

As long as you follow directions step by step, you should be fine. I did mine twice and twice I thought I skip tooth If you mess up, just do the whole timing belt change Just did mine. Not hard at all. Just takes time and patience. Again, follow directions. Maybe read over the HOW-TO twice before doing it would help.

As for car overheat, it could be that you either didn't put it back correctly and miss a tooth like someone said or you miss a connector. Go over everything and make sure it's pluged back correctly. GL
