I just got my VIII finished up at the dealer. The ACD lights were on. The problem ended up being the pump. They replaced it. How many other people here had there pump replaced under warranty? Was it covered under the drive train warranty?

 

In case anyone cares, I just got a call from the dealer. The ACD pump was replaced under the drivetrain warranty. This was on an '05. My only 'mod' was a drop in K&N. the car has 70,000 miles. Hope this info helps someone.

 

Would love to know what dealership you took the car to. I'm running into the same hassle right now in CT with my 05 VIII. Dealer is telling me that the ACD pump is covered only under a 5 yr/60k mile warranty, when I'm sure that I was covered by a 10yr/100k plan when I bought the car.
