NLTS and the Stock Ecu. Theres no need for anything else. The stock ecu can handle just about anything. If you spend the time in the Ecu Flash forum you can have your car running on speed density no more maf, using NLTS at WOT with your check engine light as a knock indicator.

The list goes on just do some reading

all you need are two spare tranys and money for repairs, if you daily drive your car you will always have a bad sincro or sleeve busted forks.

or use your car only to go to the track once every 3 months.

Just for clarification, Tephramod NLTS cuts fuel, not ignition. To me this is better, since you don't have fuel flowing in your cylinders for no reason.

so you rather have no fuel at 30 pounds of boost at the rev limiter.

Not sure what you're getting at, but yes, during a shift I would rather have the fuel cut than spark. It's the same exact thing as if you lifted to shift.

I've used NLTS (fuel cut) for many years in my DSM and now my Evo and it works great.

It would be better to hae ignition cut, i think it wold hold the boost better and having ignition cut is always easier on the engine.

But why would it break if you have something to interrupt timing, like the WOT Box? What's going to fail first in the Evo tranny?
FYI - Its only "cheap" if you rebuild them before they break

Get a dogbox trans and shift without lifting or using the clutch...

or drive like you care about your Evo more than winning some stupid race.

dog boxes are for race cars and people with deep (VERY) pockets.

NLTS is your answer. don't add any extra crap you don't need, i.e. a WOT box. its just going to clutter up your car and cause problems. the tephra mod is free, works great, and does exactly what you want.

as for breaking your tranny, the 900 is only assuming that its not broken as someone has already said. once you break it, expect to spend double.

if you have any questions about setting up the car for NLTS or tuning, just let me know. austins only a couple hours away
