I have a brand new set of pistons for an evo 9 that I need to make fit in the eagle rods, What machiene work will be required to do this since the stock wrist pins are a press fit and with the eagle rods they have a retainer clip.

they can be used as a press fit or a full floating...just get the machine shop to pin fit the rod and press them on.

 

that would require a rebush of rods. even then I dont think it would be wise move. the press fit needs to be in steel not through a brass bushing.

best to have some teflon buttons made to keep pin from floating
