Eagle 2.3 build issue

Hey, I recently decide to swap out my 2.0l and build a 2.3l but came across an issue which I'll share and hope you'll can help:

Eagle 100MM Crankshaft
Eagle H-beam Rods
ACL Bearings
ACL Thrust Washer
ARP Stud
Balance Shaft Kit
Wiseco HD1400 Forged Pistons

Now here's my problem, When I installed the eagle crankshaft into the block I'm getting a bit of movement (enough that i can fit to hacksaw blades between the crank and thrust washers), when i use the stock crank I'm having zero movement, what do you think is wrong here.....

Thanks in advance!!

I'd say it's obviously the crank if the OEM one shows it to be fine.

some cars have thrust bearing of differnt thickness--not sure about the Evo except that they use them... I would start there.

let me get this straight you have crank end play?

Im my opinion i would go with clevite bearings, and throw those acl bearings out the window!

^ Seems the most sensible to me.

Are you using the eagle block with the evo crank? Could it be a 420a block?

Your problem isnt bearings if the stock crank doesnt have the same play. What you have is a very bad, un-usable crank. Post a pic of the crank where the thrust bearing rides. Clevites aren't thicker, you have bigger problems. Think Buschur had sum Eagle crank problems and doesnt use them anymore.

Yea i personally have used the eagle crank (well tried) and it was awful... out of round, needed massive bearings, etc. and other companies have tried to use them and no one does because of the issues. and why use it? The OEM 4g63/4 crank has been proven to be reliable at around 750hp+ cars and ABUSED HARD
