Exclamation Head Gasket reccomendation?

I track my lancer on the stock turbo at 23psi. My headgasket is going and I need to replace it this season. Those of you who have changed yours which did you pick and why? Stock is like $75 and Cometic is like $85. I don't want to get an HKS or anything for way too much money. I just want the best I can get for relatively cheap. I don't want to change compression at this point.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
I went with the Power Ent. 1.2mm HG. A little bit more than the OE, but if you are decking the head. It will offset that decking.

You cant go wrong replacing it with an OEM headgasket.

That may indicate a problem that has nothing to do with the headgasket. It takes a good bit of energy to blow a MLS gasket as good as the OEM one. That blown head gasket may be telling you something else is amiss.

In almost all cases engine builders will tell you to use the stock OEM head gasket as a fuzz. Odds are you lost the HG because of head stud install or poor tune. If it was the tune and you hadn't lost the HG you probably would have had bearing failure down the road.

Def. not the tune. We'll see when I decapitate her. I ordered a IX OE gasket. Thanks for the input guys. Cosworth looked like a good option but the cost was double so I'll give the IX a shot. I'll bet it was the 1X1 method. I did retorque but who knows. I'll try again, the right way this time.
