i pulled my head 2 days ago, removed the camshaft lastnight removed the rockers n just pulled the lifters out. easy as cake. if your having problems like xyz are in the way i suggest you get someone else to do the work for you.

You should probably stop what you are doing, and put it back together to how you had it, and tow it to a shop. God forbid the timing is off.

The cam lobe shouldn't be in the way... it should be off the car, and if you somehow got them off with the cam still in, I commend you.
