spec/quartermaster TOB
I'm replacing my clutch, probably this weekend.
I got a spec twin to replace my stock clutch. Normally it's recommended to use an OEM throw-out bearing. The spec is a conversion from pull to push and I believe it uses the quartermaster tob in the conversion kit.
Should I still need an OEM TOB?
I'll have to take pictures when I get home but the TOB has a collar around it with two lines attached. To be honest I'm not even sure if the TOB is removable from the collar. I'm just curious as I noticed a couple ding/scratches on the TOB I got, and I don't want to spend another $600 to do it later.

If it's a QM push it will look like this, and you do not need a OEM TOB. Be sure to check the pressure plate bolt lengths for proper engagement. Mine were short, and 03whitegsr's were long, and I had to get the proper legnth bolts.
